The Master of Education(MED) in Edication Management programme is designed to provide learers with a postgraduate study that meat the changing needs of education not only in the formal educational and futher education sectors. but also to support facilitators or trainers working in more informal education roles in the vocational institutes. community or public sector. The overall aims of the MEd with specialisms will enable students: The course structure offers flexible part-time study for a period of 24 months, where students can select six modules out of a total of eight modules that are best suited to their professional needs. In order to be awarded the MEd, students must have successfully completed 180 credit points with the flexibility to choose optional subjects. All modules are designed around the concept of the reflective professional and active research to improve practice. Students will successfully complete at least one module in a particular specialism as well as the Research Project in a cognate area.
