Master of Education in Education Management
(MEd)

The Master of Education (MEd) in Education Management programme is designed to provide learners with postgraduate study that meets the changing needs of education. Not only is the programme suitable for formal educational and higher education sectors. but also supports facilitators or trainers working in more informal education roles in vocational institutes, community or public sector roles. The overall aims of the MEd s enables students: The course structure offers flexible part-time study for a period of 24 months, where students may select six modules out of a total of eight that are best suited to their professional needs. In order to be awarded the MEd, students must have successfully completed 180 credit points with the flexibility to choose optional subjects. All modules are designed around the concept of the reflective professional and active research to improve practice. Students will successfully complete at least one module in a particular specialism as well as complete a Research Project in a cognate area.

    - IELTS 6.0 with not less than 5.5 in any one band

    - A minimum of two years of work experience

    - Applicants must hold a degree with at least 2.2 honours standard or equivalent or demonstrate their ability to undertake the course through the accreditation of prior experiential learning.
