Studying abroad can be a life-changing experience. It’s a fantastic opportunity to broaden your education, immerse yourself in a new culture and possibly a new language, travel the world and meet new friends.

Apart from the educational benefits, studying abroad can enhance your future career prospects. Many employers are looking for people who are adaptable and who can communicate well across cultures. In an increasingly globalised workplace, intercultural fluency is a sought after attribute. Being in another country will expose you to a global mind-set and a new style of education. You can fully interact, learn to understand different world views and better articulate your own world view.

Being away from home will provide you with the confidence and valuable life skills that will stand you in good stead, personally and professionally. You will learn a lot about yourself during this transformative experience and return home with an enhanced academic and real-world education.

The climate in Qatar is generally sunny all year round, although the temperatures can be high in the summer months (June – September). You should bring clothes that you feel most comfortable in.
